Life Hacks From The Oprah Of Millennials
“Living an Unconventional Life means being the blind man or woman wandering around in life eyes closed so that we can see clearly where we are going because we're navigating with our heart. Breaking normal, being our unapologetic weird selves.” -Jules Schroeder
I had the privilege of dropping in on a powerful conversation with Jules Schroeder - CEO of Unconventional Life, singer-songwriter and serial entrepreneur. She's been described as being the Oprah of Millennials with her new age approach to business, events and fusion of ideas and spirituality. She was our latest guest on our Momentom Collective Podcast and we discuss her top life hacks, the power of living in flow and some of her new projects, which include The Billionaire's Club - getting the top 1% involved in events to better the planet. Watch our conversation below (I suggest having a pen and paper ready for notes and ideas) or check out and subscribe to the audio podcast and others on Spreaker or iTunes.
It's been a busy summer in Canada between planning our Momentom Collective Artist Residencies in Indonesia (Sept 1 - Nov 30th) and Guatemala (Nov 1st - Jan 31st) and speaking, teaching, MCing and shenanigans-ing (spelling? haha) at several festivals, but it's been great to finally get some music back into focus as well! Here's a live rework of an indie-rock song I wrote called Smalltown Weather Man with Shawn Semchuk on cello. It definitely has a different vibe than the Broken Social Scene inspired original I recorded with good friend Juice Lee a few years back. You can hear (and download free) the original HERE.
I'll be playing with Shawn on cello and sharing some stories, ideas and reading from my book at McNally Robinson in Saskatoon next Thursday the 30th. If you're in the area come join!
It's also the last call for signed copies and shipments for my book as I leave Canada for the year in 2 weeks! I"m doing 30% off all orders, email me back at johnearlynomad@gmail.com to get a copy or gift one to a friend :)
Soak up the rest of summer ya'll!
Tu amigo,
-John PS here's a few photos from my talk 'Unconventionalities of High Vibe Communities' at Sask Soul Fest in Regina by the talented Wawryk Photography, and a big thank you to Lulu Lemon for the cool gear :)
